Clarence Jonker, 82, of Orange City died Saturday, February 20, in a hospital in Orange City.

Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, at First Reformed Church in Orange City with the Reverend Dr. Cecil Martens officiating.

Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery.

Jonker was born October 19, 1905, in Orange City. He married Dena De Vries January 30, 1930, in Orange City.

He was employed by Orange City Implement for 30 years and served as a member of Sioux County Board of Supervisors for eight years, retiring about 1979.

Jonker was a member of First Reformed Church and served on the Orange City Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Muriel Van Der Maaten of Ames; a son, Peter Evan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Priscilla of Orange City and Kathryn Vink of Lakewood, California; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
