YOUNG MAN CALLED

John R. Driesen passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Driesen, residing west of Rock Valley, Tuesday morning, following a sickness of about two weeks with pneumonia.

The subject of this sketch was born in the Netherlands, April 26, 1903, and had attained the age of twenty-two years, four months and nineteen days. He came with his parents to this country seventeen years ago. He was a splendid young man, and was held in high esteem by all who knew him, and his untimely death is very much regretted. Besides his parents and other relatives, he leaves one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held in the Christian Reformed church in Rock Valley Friday afternoon. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of many friends in their great sorrow.
