C. O. "Casey" Jones, 80, Hawarden, died October 2 at a Hawarden hospital. Services were held at 1:30 P.M., October 5 at the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden, with the Reverend Herbert Gould officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born May 18, 1894, in Coffeen, Illinois. He married Sylvia Knight, September 27, 1919 at Elk Point, South Dakota. He lived in Hawarden most of his life and was a painter.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Herb (Maxine) McMillan of Hawarden, and Mrs. Robert (Lois) Vogelzang of Middlebury, Indiana, two sons, Kenneth of Alton, Illinois, and Paul of Middleburg, Florida; two half sisters, Mrs. Louis Pricket of Alton, Illinois, and Mrs. Spray Wilson of Litchfield, Illinois; and a Half Brother, June Pease of Hillsboro, Illinois; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
