Final Services Held Tuesday For Lynne Whittington

Lynne Renee Whittington, aged 3, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Whiltington, died at her home Saturday afternoon from leukemia. The child had been sick for about a year and at numerous times had been critically ill. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Associated church with Rev. John C. Thorns officiating. Mrs. Ralph Gregg, Jr., with Mrs. Hal Shoemaker as accompanist, sang "Brahms Lullaby" and "The Children's Prayer." Four of her cousins, William and Lonnie Bowden and Harold and Daryl Vande Hoef, acted as pall bearers. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral service.

Lynne Renee was born in Hawarden, May 30, 1954. She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Dennis and Dean, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Whittington and. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vande Hoef.
