Mrs. Thomas Jenkins died Wednesday morning at her home on the North side following an illness of many months.

Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday afternoon. She was 73 years, 4 months and 17 days old at the time of her death. Her maiden name was Anna Kreiger. She was born in Pennsylvania June 27, 1844. She moved to Minnesota in 1865 and on April 23, 1866, she was united in marriage to Thomas Jenkins. Five children were born to this union, two of whom, Samuel and John, survive. She also leaves her husband to mourn her death.

Following their marriage they continued to make their home in Minnesota for many years, moving to this vicinity in the fall of 1891. They resided on a farm northwest of Hawarden for several years and then moved to this city where they have since made their home.

The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones in their hour of sorrow. Mrs. Carrie Caswell, a niece, will be present to attend the funeral.
