It is ever a sad duty for us at the chronicle the death of one in the noonday of life, but in the death of Mrs. Hans H. Jensen, this duty becomes doubly sad, for the reason that among those who mourn her death, are a number of small children that now miss the tender care of a dutiful mother.

Mrs. Margaretha (Dalmeier) Jensen died very suddenly Wednesday evening about 6 o’clock at her house, upon a farm seven miles northwest of Rock Valley of heart failure and her death is a community sorrow.

The funeral and burial services were held yesterday, and her remains were buried in the Sioux Township Cemetery.
