In 1880 she was married and living in Franklin County IA. They had three children Mary Elizabeth 1869-1942, Caroline 1873 and Myrtle Hattie 1880.

John married Sarah N. Campbell 1876 New York, died 1939 Canandaigua Ontario NY. They were married 1893 and two children Nellie Mae 1895-1955 and Ethel E. 1901-1985
