Death of Mrs. T. A. Greiner
It was with deep regret that the many warm friends of Mrs. T. A. Greiner in this city where she had long resided, learned of her death which occurred last Friday, Emma J. Greinger was born in N. Y. April 15 1858, She received her education at Whitestown Seminary NY and was for years a teacher in the public schools of her native town. After her marriage she resided for a time at Hastings IA afterwards at Calliope then at Hawarden and five years ago moved to Pioneer, IA at which place she has since resided.

She was closely associated with the up building of the Congregational church and Aid society in Hawarden, a charter member of the M I. C., I . G. T and ____ Association. Never before in the late years she has been ____ health, and every effect was made to restore her, but it was not to be, and the last month she declined rapidly and Thursday Sept 14, 1905 at 8 p.m. said a ‘good bye’ to all relative and friends, went peacefully to sleep. Her husband and son accompanied her remains to Hawarden where services were held at the home of her sister, Mr. L. L. Heald and she was laid to rest by old Friends whose many deeds of kindness eased the burden of sorrow somewhat to the grief of the family and will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Greiner leaves a husband, son and daughter, a brother and sister and other relatives to mourn her loss. The service was conducted by Rev. Burling in a beautiful manner. …
