Dan Michael Baker died of injuries recieved in a truck-train accident in Ocala, Florida, on May 1, at the age of 26. He was the son of Marion James and Wilma (DeGroot) Baker of Sioux Center.

Services will be at the Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4. Church services will be at the First Christian Reformed Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Peter Y. De Jong officiating.

Baker was born May 9, 1950 at Orange City. He attended the Sioux Center Christian School, Hull Western Christian High School and the Northwest Iowa Technical College.

He is survived by his parents, one brother Carl W. of Iowa City, Iowa; two sisters, Harriet (Mrs. Rodney Mouw) of Longville, Minnesota; Mary L. (Mrs. Charles R. Music) of Maurice, Iowa and his grandmother, Mrs. Jake Baker of Sioux Center, Iowa.
