Lynn LeRoy Reekers, age 81 of Council Bluffs, passed away Wed. Dec. 21, 2016.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Dec. 28. at the Hoykilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, IA.
Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Council Bluffs.
He was born in Hospers, Iowa on Feb. 9, 1935 to the Late Arie and Maggie Reekers.
Lynn proudly served his country in the United States Army and was longtime owner of Bluffs Quality Saw Shop.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rozella, Geneva, Elizabeth, LaVonne, Mary Jane, and Leona; and a brother, Herbert.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Reekers; daughters, Renee Erbes (Chris) Melinda Shaver (Dan) Holly Reekers; granddaughter, Michaerla Reekers, (David Geyer) Grandson, Trent Bilello; sister, Gladys Dailey; great grandsons, Joseph and Christopher Geyer; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
