Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon September 22 for Rink Bersgman, 85, retired Sheldon farmer and milk hauler, who died at the Sheldon Hospital, September 19, 1972.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Nicholas Vogelrang and burial was made in Sibley Cemetery.

Mr. Bergsman was the son of Andrew and Francis (Swager) Bergsma and was born in The Netherlands May 28, 1887. He married Aggie Houstma December 3, 1912 at Orange City. She died in 1952. He married Anna Kragt Wallinga May 24, 1954.

Survivors include the widow, a son, Andrew of Phoenix, Arizona; four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Clara) Vander Plats of Orange City, Mrs. Joe (Frances) Jilderda of Sibley, Mrs. Mike (Jeanette) Jilderda of Sutherland, Mrs. Michael (Lorraine) Verdoorn of Hartley; two brothers Albert of Hull and John of Sibley; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
