Funeral services were held for Mrs. John E. Meyer Friday, July 22 from the home and at the St. Joh’s Lutheran Church of Boyden, officiating was Rev. Peter Hinrichs. Interment was in the St. John’s Cemetery .

Emma Margaret Reyelts Meyer was born March 2, 1901 to Claus and Marie Reyelts, and passed away on Monday July 18, 1960 at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 16 days. She was untied in marriage to John E. Meyer on August 23, 1923.

She is survived by her husband, and 8 children namely , Elma (Mrs. Albert R. Mooney) of Spring Valley CA., Marian (Mrs. Edward Meyer) of Sheldon, Rudolph of Bigelow MN, Marvin of Boyden, Wilfred of Hull, Laura (Mrs. Gene Van Wyk) of Sheldon, Carolyn and Lois at home, 13 grandchildren and 3 sisters.

She was preceded in death by daughters Augusta have died in infancy and Pauline (Mrs. Harvey Klein) on May 13, 1959. Her parents and One sister and one brother.

Her entire life she resided in the Boyden and Hull vicinity. She was baptized, confirmed and was a faithful member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Boyden.
