Frank Fitzpatrick, a former resident, died at his home in Fallon, Nevada. The funeral was held at St. Mary's church in Maurice Tuesday, May 19 and burial was in the Maurice cemetery

Frank Fitzpatrck Rites At Maurice
Frank Fitzpatrick, 76, a former well known Maurice resident, passed on at Fallon, Nev. May 12th after a brief illness of three days. He was born at Colesburg. Iowa, the son of Luke and Margaret Culligan Fitzpatrick, early settlers in the Maurice vicinity One sister, Mrs. N. D. Huse of Pasadena, Calif, and several nieces and nephews survive him. Two sisters, Mrs. John ; Linnan and Mrs. Dan Doherty, both of Maurice, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary's church in Maurice, Rev. Benjamin officiating, with burial in the Maurice cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. M. Doherty of Alton were among those attending the service.

Note: Francis P. ‘Frank’ Fitzpatrick was born 12 Oct 1878 Colesburg IA, died 12 May 1953 Fallon Station Churchill Nevada, buried in Sherman Township Cemetery at Maurice IA. His parents were Luke Pitzpatrick 1828-1907 and Margaret Culligan 1828-1920.
