Flammang, Maria (Klein) born 1824 died 1895 buried St. Joseph cemetery Granville, Iowa.

This lady most likely was the mother of Frank Flammang 1862-1926. It was stated that Nick Klein 1849-1915, Jacob B. Klein 1851-1936 and Theodore Klein 1853-1932 were half brothers of Frank Flammang. Their parents were Michael Klein born 1812- 1853 Luxembourg and Mary Muller born 1820-1895 Luxembourg. Guess is that Frank and the Kleins got their mother to come to the USA, and that she was first married to Michael Klein and then married to a Flammang.

Immigration records show a Marie Flamang born about 1824 age 62 Luxembourg arrived in NY 26 Feb 1886, on ship Rhynland traveling with her was Franz Flamang age 24 and Nicolas 37. The age of Nicolas Klein corresponds with Nicolas Klein born 1849-1915. Ancestry.com reports lists Mary Muller mother of Nicolas, Theodore and Jacob born 1920 died Apr 2, 1895 Luxembourg.
