With much regret we chronicle the news that Mrs. Hilda Schram Hoogterp of Newkirk died Monday at about noon.

She had been, and was at the time of her death, a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, Sioux City, where she had undergone an operation to effect a cure.

This community feels indeed very sorry for Mr. Hillebrand Hoogterp and two children and extends to them the hand of sympathy in the hour of their deep sorrow.
