Neal Hoekstra, who lived near Doon, passed away in the Le Mars Hospital last Wednesday morning. He was taken there for treatment a few weeks earlier. His death was due to tuberculosis of the bowels.

Mr. Hoekstra was well known in this vicinity, having lived around here for several years.

Note: His parents were John and Ida (Yttje) Faber Hoekstra and he was married to Alice Aardsma Hoekstra.
