MRS. E. A. ROUNDS PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF SON

Mrs. E. A. Rounds, mother of our former townsman, H. E. Rounds, passed away at the home of her son at Twin Falls, Idaho, Feb. 16, 1924.

Mrs. Rounds went to Twin Falls last June from her former home in Los Angeles, Cal. to make her home with her son. She was born in Canada, June 6, 1836 and had nearly attained the ripe old age of 88 years. She was confined to her bed just a week following a slight cerebral hemorrhage from which she never recovered.

She leaves three children, Mrs. W. J. McGraw of Los Angeles, Cal., H. E. Rounds, Twin Falls, Idaho and H. S. Rounds, Sioux City, Iowa, besides several grand children and great grand children. Mrs. Rounds often visited Rock Valley and will be remembered by many of the older residents.

Her death certificate on Ancestry.com has Eliza Ann Rounds, b. 6 Jun 1836 in Canada; died 16 Feb 1924 in Twin Falls, Idaho, of a cerebral hemorrhage; father Philipp Tillmore[?], mother unknown; buried Sioux City, Iowa.
