Funeral Held Tuesday For Mrs. Ed Holtrop

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church here at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 for Mrs. Edward Holtrop, 68, of Sioux Center, who died suddenly and unexpectedly June 27 at Edgerton, Minnesota.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Peter Brower and burial was made in Middleburg Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holtrop, nee Marie Baartman, was born at Orange City April 20, 1901. She was married to Ed Holtrop October 17, 1920, at Doon.

Survivors include the widower and a daughter, Mrs. Bert Regnerus of Sioux Center; a son, Bert, of Chino, California; two brothers, Pleun of Ruthton, Minnesota, and Peter of Long Beach, California; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
