Mrs. Nick Hoffman, 79, Hospers, died March 30 at a Sheldon Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. April 2 in St. Anthony Catholic Church at Hospers. The Reverend Eugene Ceperly officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Mrs. Hoffman, the former Josephine Gloden, was born October 29, 1896, at Granville. She was married to Nick Reuter February 6, 1971, at Granville. He died in 1943.

She was married to Mr. Hoffman in February, 1944, at Hospers. Mr. Hoffman died in 1959. She was a member of the Christians Mothers and St. Anthony’s Guild in Hospers.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Reuter of Hospers; two daughters, Mrs. Adeline Brys of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and Mrs. Joseph (Marian) Verschoor of Sheldon; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers: John of Hospers, Al of Norwalk, California, and Larry of Sheldon; and five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Glaessner of California, Cecelia Reistoffer of Granville, Mrs. Kathryn Schmit and Mrs. Matilda Schmit, both of Hospers, and Mrs. Jake (Susan) Waldenbach of Davis, California.
