Mrs. Neal Muyskens died at her home northeast of Alton on this Friday morning following a sickness of two weeks with typhoid fever complicated with pneumonia. Deceased was born in the Netherlands and had reached the age of 37. She was the daughter of Henry Geurink, Sr. In 1886 she was united in marriage with Neal Muyskens. This union was blessed with eleven children, eight of whom survive. The funeral services will be held on Monday from the Reformed church. Interment will be in Nassau township cemetery. The surviving children are: Henry, Tillie, John, George, Gerrit, Grace, Dick and Peter--all at home. She is also survived by her husband, her father and two sister--Miss Hattie Geurink and Mrs. D. Muyskens, both of Alton. The surviving relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

A baby was born to Mr. and Mrs. Neal Muyskens on Wednesday which died soon after birth. The mother had contracted the measles and is very seriously ill.

A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. C. Muyskens east of town. The child died soon after birth.
