Miss Rosa Mary Kettler died suddenly on Saturday morning May 17. She had complained of not feeling well but nothing serious was wrong or anticipated. Rosa suffered a severe attack of spinal meningitis when three years old and the disease left her an invalid. Deceased was born at Buffalo Grove Illinois on Dec. 28th 1881 and was therefore 31 years, 4 months and 19 days old when she passed on. The funeral services were held from St. Mary's Catholic church on Monday, May 19th. Services were conducted by Very Rev. F. J. Brune. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery. Deceased is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters: Alexius of Denver, Leo of Lismore, Minn., Mrs. Joe Fath of Lismore, Minn., Mrs. Albert Probst, Margaret, Frank, Otto, Alma, Elenora, Oswald and Severna--all of Alton.
