Duane Jongerius father dies Sunday

Funeral services for Gerrit W. Jongerius, 59, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Reformed church at Steen, Minn.

Mr. Jongerius died Sunday in a Luverne. Minn., hospital. He was born April 4, 1901, at Sioux Center. He was married May 2, 1929, at Steen.

Survivors include the widow: five children, Mrs. Marion Van Engen, Lester; Mrs. Gary Rich, Sioux Falls, S. D.; Mrs. David Dykstra; Sharon at home and Duane, Rock Rapids; 10 grandchildren, four brothers and six sisters.
