Otto Hodapp, 67, of Granville passed away suddenly Thursday morning while sitting in his car. He had been in failing health for several years.

He was born December 29, 1899, at Granville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Stephanie (Burger) Hodapp. He assisted his parents on the farm until his marriage February 1, 1921 to Charlotte Full at St. Joseph Church, Granville. They farmed until a couple of years ago when they retired and moved to Granville.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Church Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, with Reverend N.J. Becker officiating. Burial was at the parish cemetery. Rosary was recited at Spalding Hall Friday evening.

Mr. Hodapp is survived by the widow, a son, Conrad of Canby, Minnesota; five daughters, Mrs. Joe (Elaine) Callahan of Sheldon and Mrs. Daniel (Joan) Mullin of Hospers, Mrs. Ervin (Alice ) Wittkop of Marcus, Mrs. Allen (Margie) Bergeson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Mrs. Francis (Georgia) Croat of Granville; two sisters, Miss Emma Hodapp, Mrs. John Ahlers, both of Granville.

Pallbearers were nephews--Charlence Pohlen, Hospers; Kenneth Full, Gerald Auchstetter, Charles Klein, Raphael Ahlers, all of Granville, and Alvin Full of Hospers.
