Mrs. Cheryl Grevengoed, age 58, of Boyden, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center.

There will be a funeral service on Friday, May 12, at 10:00am, at the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Kevin Yurk will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Hope Cemetery in Hull. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Thursday, with the family present from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the CHURCH.

Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Cheryl Ann was born on July 12, 1958, in Rock Rapids, the daughter of Gerritt and Joyce (Mulder) Bakker. She was raised in Rock Valley, where she graduated from the high school.

She first married Richard Koele, and they made their home in Hull. On July 8, 1999, she married Randall Lee Grevengoed in Hull. They lived in rural Boyden.

Cheryl was currently employed at Groschopp in Sioux Center. She also worked part-time for Natural Beauty Growers at Boyden.

She was a member of the First Reformed Church, where she helped organize their soup suppers. She enjoyed camping, vacationing, and spending time with the grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of almost eighteen years, Randy; five children, Wayne Koele, of Sheldon; Nathan Koele, of Boyden; Michelle, and her husband, Justin Vore, of Le Mars; Travis Grevengoed, and his wife, Sarah, of Hull; and Trisha Grevengoed, of Denmark; seven grandchildren, Treyton, Abbigail, Alexander, Camden, Kirsten, Keagan, and Kwyn; two sisters, Laurie, and her husband, Don Vander Plaats, of Hull; and Gloria Koops, of Sioux Center; two brothers, Robert Bakker, and his wife, Kathy, and Lyle Bakker, all of Sioux City; two aunts, Katherine Middle, of Rock Valley, and Anna Tiedeman, of Hull; and an uncle and his wife, Larry and Joan Mulder, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two uncles, Goerge Middle and Donald Tiedeman.
