Selah Farence, the three-month-old daughter of Jacob Paul and Tiffany Marie (De Jager) Farence, of Hospers, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

There will be a funeral service on Saturday, May 6, at 2:00pm, at the Living Water Community Church in Orange City. The Rev. Jason Van Wyk will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. Visitation will be after 6:00pm on Friday, with the family present from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Selah Roslyn was born on February 1, 2017 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She had been ill since birth.

She was a baptized member of the Living Water Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Aaliyah Campbell, and her brother, Micah Farence, both of Hospers; grandparents, Alicia Beltman, and Don and Linda Beltman, all of Sheldon; Rhonda De Jager, of Orange City; Jeffrey Ehrich, of Osage Beach, Missouri; great-grandmother, Bea Dykstra, of Alton; and her godmother, Abigail Te Velde, of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Michael Farence, and a cousin, Brody Farence.
