Funeral services

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Murphy, 68, were at 9 a. m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic church Rev. Edward Hoffman officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Murphy died Sunday night at her home near Hull following a brief illness. She was born July 1, 1891 at Doon.

Survivors include the widower, John, two daughters, Miss Arlene Murphy of Sioux City and Miss Mary Murphy of Sheldon, three sisters, Mrs. Fred Snyder of Larchwood and Mrs. Ann Lehman of Monroe Mich., Miss Mayme Kleespies of Doon and one brother Joe Kleespies of Osage.
The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. at Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.
