Funeral services were held at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden December 6 of Harry C. Hilton, 92, of Hawarden, who died December 4 at the Hawarden Nursing Home. Services were conducted by the Reverend G.S. Bruland and burial was made in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Mr. Hilton was born February 17, 1877, at Dubuque. As a boy he moved with his parents, Henry and Mettie (Gibson) Hilton to Kimball, South Dakota, and at the age of 22 (in 1889) moved to Hawarden. He was married to Annie Mitchell at Hawarden February 17, 1900 and was a carpenter and contractor in the community until his retirement.

Survivors include a sister, Miss Inez Hilton, of Cedar Falls.
