From the Sioux County Index (Hull), March 2, 1923:

Mrs. Jansma Dies

Mrs. Wiebe Jansma who has been so sick for months past, passed away Tuesday afternoon February 27th, 1923. She was seventy-two years old.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home and at 1:30 from the Christian Reformed church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. J. Woersing. The Index joins in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved son and daughter and other relatives.

From the Alton Democrat, March 10, 1923, Hull news:

Mrs. Wiebe Jansma died at her home here Tuesday afternoon Feb. 27 after a lingering illness. She was 72 years of age. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Tunis Jansma and a daughter, Mrs. Will Claerbout both of this vicinity, also a number of grandchildren and a wide circle of friends. The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the Christian Ref. church, Rev. J. J. Weersing officiating, and she was laid to rest in Hope cemetery.
