Services for Mrs. Wittebrood to be Friday

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Nellie Wittebrood, Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the funeral home here and at 1:30 in the First Reformed church of which she was a member. The
services will be conducted by Rev. A. A.Dykstra.

Mrs. Wittebrood, nee Nellie Ver Maas, was born in The Netherlands July 21, 1890. Atthe age of 11 she came to America with her parents and spent several years in the Middleburg ommunity.
She was married to Jacob Wittebrood who preceded her in death in 1930. For the past
several years she had made her home at 1410 12th, St in Rock Valley.Due to ill health during the past few years she had spent
considerable time in the hospital. Death however, came rather unexpectedly, on Tuesday after she had been re-admitted to the Sioux Center hospital the previous day.

Surviving her death are a brother, John Ver Maas of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mrs
Jesse Oldenkamp of Orange City, one son, Adrian of St. Paul, Minn and a daughter, Wilhelmina, Mrs Melvin Ykema of Lebanon. Also three grandchildren, Karen, Gregory and Darrell Ykema.
