Mrs. Lee P. Heeringa, nee Jennie Feenstra, was born January 21, 1877, at Allmamier, Friesland, the Netherlands.

In May of 1894, she, with her family arrived in Le Mars, Iowa, and in September of the same year the family moved to Hull.

She was married on the 30th day of January, 1896 to Lee P. Heeringa and the couple made their home on a farm northeast of Hull. Mr. and Mrs. Heeringa moved into Hull in 1924. She died June 19th 1948, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 29 days.

Mrs. Heeringa is survived by her husband and four children: Mrs. Hattie Hanenburg of Hull; Peter Heeringa of Brewster, Minnesota; Sadie, Mrs. J.P. Brouwer of Chicago, Illinois; Jessie, Mrs. Peter Baartman of Hills, Minnesota; also 19 grandchildren; 2great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Gerrit Vander Brink of Boyden.
