ROCK VALLEY — Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Hollander, 82, who died Monday at
the home of a daughter here following an illness of one year were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday
at the John Kragt home and at 2 p.m. at the Christian Reformed church at Hull. Rev. H. C. Van
Deelen officiated. Burial was in Hull.

Mrs. Hollander was born September15, 1874, at Orange City.She was a lifelong resident of
Sioux county. She married Peter Brower March 12, 1896. He diedin March of 1937. She later married
Teunis Hollander, who preceded her in death in March of 1948.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Kragt, Rock Valley and Mrs. Gerrit Juffer of
Treton; two sons, William Brouwer of Chicago and Richard Brower of Archer, la.; two sisters,
Mrs. Herman Wobbema of California and Mrs. Anna Meyer of Passiac, N. J.; five brothers,
Peter, George, Pierre and Dewey Wiersma of .Orange City and Sam Wiersma of Middleburg;
two stepdaughters and three stepsons; 28 grandchildren and48 great-grandchildren. Ten brothers
and sisters preceded her in death.
