Brouwer, Gertie born 1853 died 1934 Mother on same stone as John P. Buried in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City IA, as listed in the Sioux County cemetery index.

No obit was readily found in the papers, in Feb 9th issue of the Alton Democrat it mentions Mrs. John Brower left the hospital Friday and is recuperating at her home.

Jacob Baas married Giretje Brouwer 25, born Andijk on Jul 7, 1878 at Andijk. Her parents were Cornelis Brouwer and Antje Mantel. She would have been born 1853. She married John P. Brouwer later. Jacob died before 1889 She married Jan Pieters Brouwer 18 Mar 1889 in Orange City IA .
