George “Gosse” Brolsma born 21 Feb 1852 Neth died 23/24 Dec 1919 Orange City IA. He is listed in the Sioux county cemetery index as buried in West Lawn cemetery in Orange City from the WPA 1939 Index.

Note: Son of Jacob Gerrits Brolsma and Dieuwke Gosjes Laverman. He was married to Johanna Markus 1851-1920. They were married 5 Sep 1877 Marion County IA . They had a large family of children Jacob, Jennie, Adirana, Douwina, Winnie, John Henry, George, Anna and Kathryn. No obituary was found in the papers, the deVolksvriend of Orange City was not searched.

Johanna Markus born 9 dec 1851 Pella IA died 24 Mar 1920 Sioux County IA . Daughter of Johannes Hendrikus Markus 1821-1887 and Adirannitje Adiranna Bollaart 1826-1881.
