Dr. Henry E. Harriman, 55, of Birmingham, died last Thursday at Birmingham, his death caused by a paralytic stroke.
He was a brother of the late Carl Harriman of Alton and his is the third death in the family in six months, his father having passed on recently at Kanawha, a few months after the passing of Carl Harriman, who died suddenly while vacationing in Florida.
Dr. Harriman left his veterinary practice in Kanawha in 1954 to work for the Jefferson County Health Board at Birmingham.
Services were held at the Kanawha Lutheran Church Tuesday. Attending from Alton were Mrs. Carl Harriman and son Jack, and from Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harriman and Mrs. J. Breaman.
