Rinske Woudstra

Mrs. L. Woudstra passed away Saturday, Aug. 28 at 11 p. m. at an Orange City hospital after a lingering illness at the age of 78 years. She was born in Friesland Netherlands October 19, 1871 and came to this country in 1920 with her three sons, James Woudstra of Orange City and the twins Ike and Ted Woudstra of Hospers who survive her. There are also 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and two sisters in Holland, Mrs. R. Vander Laan and Mrs. Henry Woudstra. Her husband preceded her in death 32 years ago. She lived in and around Hospers since they came to America.
Funeral services were held at the home of Ike Woudstra, Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock and at 1:30 at the Christian Reformed church of which she was a member, the Rev. J. Hollenbeek in charge. Interment was made in the Hospers cemetery.
