Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church with Reverend B. Roy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Frazier Funeral Service.

Jayce Harkness, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy and Anna (Tillotson) Harkness, Sr., of Akron, was born February 9, 1931. He had stayed with his sister, Mrs. Ray Dimmick near Hawarden at times as he was hauling gravel for Clifford Dimmick.

Survivors besides his parents; are four sisters, Mrs. Roy Dimmick and Mrs. Richard Millikan of Hawarden, Mrs. Benita Livingston of Elk Point and Beatrice at home, and five brothers, Alvin, who was hauling gravel with him, Don, Guy, Jr., and Arnold of Elk Point and Blair at home. Two brothers and two sisters, one of whom was Mrs. Bernard Weyer of Hawarden, preceded him in death.
