Mrs. Mary M. Mollison passed away at the Soldier's Hospital at Hot Springs, South Dakota on April 1 after a sickness of several years.

Mrs. Hardacre celebrated her 100th birthday on February 13. She was born on February 13, 1852 at Joe Daviess County, Illinois near Galena. She came to Le Mars in 1884 and lived here until 5 years ago when she moved to Hot Springs and made her home there. She has been able to visit her family every year and even this last summer spent two months in Le Mars.

Mary Mollison and Joseph N. Hardacre were married in November 1871 in Illinois.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral home with Reverend H. V. Bartz officiating. Burial will be in the Ireton City Cemetery under the direction of Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Harry of Hot Springs, South Dakota and Jim Hardacre of Le Mars; 5 daughters, Mrs. Sadie Worcester of Le Mars, Mrs. Mamie Beaton of Phillip, South Dakota; Mrs. Luella Reeves of White Lake, South Dakota; Mrs. Addie Worcester, Richland, California and Mrs. Winnie Maust of Seattle, Washington; Also 37 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1903; one son, Alick; 3 daughters, Mrs. Bertha Rainboth, Mrs. Hattie Kitterman, Mrs. Ethel McGrory.

On the occasion of Mrs. Hardacre's 100th birthday, she received a special letter of felicitation from President Harry Truman.
