Funeral services were held October 22, in the Alton Reformed Church for Theodore Hansma who died at his home in Alton. Reverend Clarence Greving conducted the services. The Reverend Robert Vander Schaaf of Fulton, Illinois also participated. A message was brought by Ray and Gerald Schreur.

He was born in the Netherlands October 27, 1887. After emigrating to this country he worked for many years in a furniture factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan. March 27, 1952 he was united in marriage to Etta Keizer of Alton and the couple moved to Alton. Mr. Hansma was a member of the Alton Reformed Church and all his life showed a keen interest in the affair of the church.

His widow survives and three stepchildren, Edward and Gerald Keizer of Alton and Mrs. Bob Vander Schaaf of Fulton, Illinois. He is also survived by two brothers, Berend and Jacob who live in The Netherlands.
