Carolyn Rindels, 58 of Mountain Home passed away on Wed. Feb. 3, 2016 in Mountain Home.

Carolyn was born August 25, 1957 in Canton, S.D. to the late John and Jeannette Groen. She grew up east of Inwood, IA and attended West Lyon Community School until her Freshman year, At that time, she moved to Rock Valley where she graduated from Rock Valley Community School in 1975. She married Gary Rindels in June of 1975. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Gary "Fritz" Rindels of Mountain Home; one daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Chris Thomas of Lakewood, CO.; a sister and brother-in-law, Joy (Jay) Van Den Top of Larchwood, IA; a grandson Leo Thomas of Lakewood, CO; many nieces and nephews, and special friends. Sue Younger of Three Brothers, ARK. and Tillman and Sue Adkins of Mountain Home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
