AGED BOYDEN PIONEER DEAD
Mrs. Walbrink Passed on Aug. 9 at Home of Daughter--82 Years of Age

Mrs. Walbrink, one of the earliest pioneers of this vicinity passed away on Aug. 9th at the home of her daughter, Mr. Henry Pitsticks. Death was due to a complication of ailments resulting from old age. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Henry Pitsticks residence, with Rev. Bruins in charge and interment was in the Boyden cemetery.

Mrs. Walbrink was born in Friesland, Netherlands, and came to the U.S. with her husband 55 years ago. There were three children, of whom two are living, Mrs. Henry Pitsticks of Boyden and Albert Walbrink, of Chicago.

Obituary
Mrs. John Wolbrink

Mrs. John Wolbrink was born on September 18th[?], 1840, at [illegible] Netherlands, and passed away on Wednesday morning, August 9th, at about 6:00 o'clock at the age of 81[?] years, 7[?!] months, and 9[?] days. She died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Pitstick, with whom she has made her home for the past eight years. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the H. W. Pitstick home, with Rev. F. W. Bruins, officiating. Interment will be made in the Boyden cemetery.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Pitstick she also leaves a son, A. J. Wolbrink of Chicago, to mourn her death. Deceased came to this country from Holland in the year of 1867 and resided at Grand Rapids, Mich. for ten years, then moving to Boyden, where she spent 45 years of her life.

The Reporter extends its sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
