Many Attend Funeral of Betty Jane Wolfswinkel

A very large number of sorrowing friends and relatives attended the funeral last Saturday of little Betty Jane Wolfswinkel, daughter of Mr. Hyman Wolfswinkel, of Sibley formerly of Hull. The services were held in the First Reformed church of Hull, by Peer. G. H. Douwstra, assisted by Rev. Kolenbrander of Sibley.

Obituary
Elizabeth Jane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Wolfswinkel, known by all as Betty Jane, was born May 29, 1928 in Hull, Iowa.
She attended the Hull Public school until November 15. 1935, when she moved with her parents and brother Leon to Sibley, Iowa, and enrolled in the Third grade at that place. She had a perfect attendance record up to February 14, when she came home sick.
A doctor was called immediately, but was undecided as to Betty’s trouble. She was taken to the Sibley hospital on Monday, February 17, where she seemingly improved, and was taken home on Thursday, but Saturday her pains returned and she was then taken to the Hull hospital. On Sunday she was operated on for a ruptured appendix. All that could be done was done for Betty Jane but the Lord called her home on Wednesday, February 26.
