Mrs. Will Wolf, Early Resident Dies at Alton, Rites Thursday

Mrs. Will Wolf, nee Elizabeth Noethe, died at her home here June 17 that the age of 77 years. Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 9:30 in St. Mary's church.
Born at St. Mary's, Iowa in November, 1880, Mrs. Wolf was an early resident of this vicinity, having come here in 1882 with her pioneer parents. She was married June 21, 1910 to William Wolf and the couple farmed near Alton for 15 years, then moved to town.
Surviving are her husband and two children, Norbert of Moneta and Corolla, Mrs. Fred Borr of Alton; one brother, Andrew Noethe of Sutherland, and three sisters: Mrs. Anna Konz of Alton, Mrs. Mary Konz of Elkton, S.D. and Miss Louise Noethe of Alton. Mrs. Wolf was a devoted wife and mother and will also be missed by many friends.
