Funeral services for Herman C. Eggebrecht, 55, resident of Craig, who died Saturday morning in a Le Mars Hospital after a three months illness, were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Mauer Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Reverend Ervin Schennel officiated with burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Craig.

Mr. Eggebrecht was born June 21, 1909 at Craig and was an employee of the railroad working around Craig and Alton all of his life. A veteran of World War II, he moved to Alton about three years ago.

Survivors are a son, Robert; one brother, Ervin of Le Mars; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Hulton and Mrs. Ernest Schuette, both of Craig, Mrs. Fred Ludwigs of Le Mars and Mrs. William Beeck of Reading, Minnesota and one grandchild.

Note: He was married to Margaret Mary Euken McFarlin and his parents were Herman and Minnie Ladwig Eggebrecht.
