Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 for the late Nick Burlage. 82, who passed away Monday noon at the Orange City hospital where he made his home the past three years due to a lingering illness.

He was born June 27. 1883, at New Vienna, Iowa, where he married Miss Antonolla Newhaus on Feb, 6, 1906. They came to the Granville vicinity to farm where they resided for many years before retiring and moving to Granville, Mrs. Burlage passed away in 1946.

He is survived by six children— Clarence and Alver of Denver, Colo,; Leonard, Elkton, S. D,; Edward, Osage, Iowa; Kenneth, Altoona, Pa.: Florence, Mrs. .Jos, Schwarz. Granville; also by 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A son Gerald and daughter Florence preceded him in death.

Rosary was recited at Spalding Hall Tuesday evening. Burial was at ST. Joseph's cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home
