Burket, Eliza Jane (Mrs. David) born 1828- died Mar 29, 1874, married 2 Oct 1845 in Henry County Indiana to David Burket or Burkett. He was the son of Jehu Burkett 1790-1875 and Elizabeth Titter 1795 -1878. Eliza’s parents were not found. Eliza was the mother of a large family. 1870 census of Mahasks County IA lists the children in the family as Martha, Marzuies, Clinton, Alonzo, Malissa, Aharlie, Emma, Ellis , William and Carrie. 1n the 1880 census, David was 57 born Ohio living in Reading Tsp Sioux County Ia Emmyene was 19, Ellis 16, William 14 and Ellen 9.
