ANNA LUELLA BUREN-MILLER.
Anna Luella Buren, wife of John H. Miller and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Buren, was born at Parkersburg S.D., on April 19th,1884. She passed away at the home of her parents in Boyden, Iowa, on January 9th, 1925, at the age of 40 years, 8 months and 20 days . Funeral services were held on Monday at 2 o'clock, at the United Presbyterian church in Boyden with Rev. Boell, of George, Iowa, officiating assisted by Dr. W. T. McCoumel and Interment was made in the Boyden cemetery.

She was united in marriage to John Henry Miller, of Boyden, at George, Iowa, on February 18th
1913, and one daughter, Margaret Jean, was born to this union. At the age of 16 years she made public confession of her faith in Christ and was a member of the Presbyterian church. She graduated from the La Porte City high school in 1906, after which she taught school for a number of years; one year in the Boyden school and one year in the George school. She was a good Christian woman and was prepared to go Home when called upon. She suffered from a cancer for several years, and last winter received treatment at Savannah, Mo., but all that loving hearts and scientific methods could do for her failed, and she was called Home.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and daughter, her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Buren, one brother Frank of Hull and one sister Mabel, Mrs. W. A. Krahling of Sheldon and a sister Margaret at home. Those relatives from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Fred Cole of Presho, S.D.; Mrs. Margaret Van Aarendonk of Harrison, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Theo Feenstra of Davis, S.D.;Mr. and Mrs. Steven Pool of Davis, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. C. C. De Boor, of Lennox, S. D.; and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith, of George, Iowa. There were many friends of the family from George, and other towns here to attend the funeral.

Note: She is listed in the Sioux County cemetery index as born 1884 died 9 Jan 1925 daughter of Rynder C. Buren and is buried in Sheridan Township cemetery Boyden, IA. She was married to John Henry Miller born 9 Dec 1887 died 3 Feb 1968, married 18 Feb 1913. They had a daughter Margaret Jean 1920-1995. She was the daughter of Rynder Cornelius Buren 1854-1935 and Angeline Alderts 1858-1941.
