Mr. and Mrs. Leusink have many friends here all of whom extend sincere sympathy to them in their be[reavement].

Hyman Elmer youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Leusink three miles east of town, died Tuesday afternoon, at the age of 3 years and 8 months. The boy had not been well for some days, however his death came very unexpectedly. He is survived by his parents, four sisters and one brother.

[These two news notes appear one after the other, and evidently pertain to the same child.]
