Funeral services for Wesley Guetzkow of Alton were Tuesday, June 16, in the Van Etten Funeral Home, Orange City. The Reverend A.E. Kleppinger officiated with burial in Nassau Township Cemetery.

Mr. Guetzkow died June 13 in the Sioux Falls Veterans Hospital following a 10-month illness. He was 62 years old. Mr. Guetzkow was born January 3, 1908, in New Britain, Wisconsin. He married his wife Elsie Munn September 20, 1958 in Rousatonie, Massachusetts.

The couple moved to a farm south of Carnes in 1964 and then to Alton in 1965. Mr. Guetzkow was employed as a truck driver.

Surviving him are his widow; two sons, Wesley Jr. of Rock Rapids and James at home and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Norman Weber, Wilbur Heuertz, Gerald Keizer, Ronald Klein, Bob Zevenbergen, and Virgil Aalbers.

Coming from out of town to attend the services were Mrs. Merlyn Tapp and children of Sheldon, Mrs. Marvin Kots of Le Mars, Mrs. Elsie Hand of Hawarden, Norman and Mrs. Weber of Le Mars, and Wilbur and Mrs. Heuertz of Remsen.
