From the Sioux County Index (Hull), April 14, 1922:

Mrs. Winters Dies

Mrs. Pete Winters died at her home northeast of Hull, Thursday of last week. Mrs. Winters was a young woman thirty-two years old, and besides the infant born just a short time before her death, she is survived by her husband and a four year old daughter.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from St. Pauls Lutheran church northeast of Hull, conducted by Rev. Landgrebe of Rock Rapids, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near by. The bereaved husband and children have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.
