Mrs. Dick Zwagerman, 82, died June 5 at a Sheldon hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. June 9 in the Christian Reformed Church of Hospers. The Rev. Peter De Haan officiated. Burial was in Hospers Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home at Hospers.
Mrs. Zwagerman, the former Jennie Roetman, was born June 30, 1893, in Leota, Minn. She was married Feb. 6, 1913. The couple lived on farms near the Sheldon and Hospers communities until 1944, when they moved to Hospers. Mr. Zwagerman died April 9, 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cornie (Bertha) Granstra of Sheldon, Mrs. Henry (Kate) Cleveringa of Jasper, Minn. And Mrs. Harold (Rozella) Roos of Sibley; a son, John of Hutchinson, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Frank and John Roetman, both of Hospers, and Ben Roetman of Orange City; three sisters, Mrs. Marge Kreykes of Sheldon, Mrs. Edith Kraai of Orange City, and Mrs. Kate Kilpack of Reno, Nev.
